CHANGES...

It's crazy how time flies sometimes, but our time together has come to a close. I have had the best time with my two teams... Avalanche 97's and Sol FC 00's. Both teams played their final games in the Avalanche Invitational, where the Sol FC girls got a taste of the state premier level, and my Avalanche team dominated their way to the final. Unfortunately things didn't go our way in the final, after hitting the post in the first half, and running out of gas the second half due to no subs. The tournament was not a wash, though. I spent my last nights with the Avalanche girls, one night until after midnight, just hanging out with them talking and laughing. Team time was always a blast. We also coined the "12-Pack" term, since we only had 12 out of the 15 rostered participate in the tourney. We have promised each other to have reunions, on top of retreats back up to Logan. I feel that although we didn't quite achieve certain goals, the team learned to play a beautiful game AS a team, and I think I made an impression that will last forever. That to me, is success...

As for Sol FC... They had a few guest players, some of which are now teammates. It was awesome to get to know a couple of the girls right off the bat, and I look forward to the new changes with the team as they merge with Infinity. Great things are in store for you girls...

GOOD LUCK all you Avalanche and Sol FC girls! I wish you all the best, and hope you find success in all that you do. You all are truly loved! 12-4 (12-Pack 4Ever)! Peace out...

-Sly. :)

RSL Game

We had a chance to go as a team to the RSL game last Saturday. The weather was hot and the game wasn't the best we'd ever seen, but we felt like the team was able to bond and enjoy each other's company. We had fun, girls, we hope you did too!

More Pictures!
